My passion for interior design stems from childhood when I obsessively re-arranged the furniture and created soft furnishings for my doll’s house.
For many years I fed my passion for creativity through a career in the Marketing industry, a very visual and inventive environment. It was there that I built my skills working directly with clients, interpreting their brief, and coordinating the delivery of creative solutions, however I never lost the zeal I had for interiors and property. I have now merged my expertise and passion into managing design specialists, builders, and professional services to create beautiful interior design.
In 2006 I managed the transformation of an unmodernised house into a luxury family home. The restoration project involved stripping the house back to the bare bones, and then through clear and focused management I coordinated the structural and design elements to deliver the end design vision. Finished, the house sold for double the original value.
This led to investment in a property, which had been subdivided into flats, and was in a sad and sorry decorative state. Mid-way through the construction project I fell in love with the house and it became my home. Once the extensive renovations were complete, my attention turned to the interior design aspects, giving me the inspiration to set up ‘Cliveden Design’, named after my house.
With these projects giving me strong credentials, and hands on experience in the structural aspects of property development, I wanted to ensure that I was equally skilled in all aspects of interior design, so in 2017 completed a year-long Design Diploma at KLC, graduating with distinction.
Today my focus is on design-based projects that include interior decoration, managing small build-based initiatives, sourcing furniture, fittings, and styling new build apartments.
