My approach is very much driven by you, your style and needs. You may simply want some help and advice on your own design ideas, and I can be a design sounding board, or maybe you want to outsource the entire design project, having someone else manage it for you.
I will work with you to identify your design preferences – exploring styles, colours, and textures, as well as reviewing existing furnishing, lighting, and artwork. We will discuss how you and your family utilise the living space from a practical perspective, and how this might differ in the future, and most importantly understand the budget you would be happy to work to.
The outcome will be a set of design concepts in the form of mood boards and room plans. Utilising design suppliers and trade accounts I can source a wide variety of furnishings, materials, finishes and lighting, ranging from traditional to quirky, classic to modern, and high end to great quality budget pieces.
Whilst budget can be the key driver on some projects, I will provide expertise on when it is prudent to invest in one key design piece, to sit seamlessly alongside more everyday furnishing to enhance the finished look.
And should structural works be required, you can access trade suppliers and design professionals through me. Or if you have preferred suppliers, I am equally happy to work with them too managing and coordinating the structural changes.
